That's less than you spend on Kleenex during the school year. These are a few things that I strongly believe every teacher should have.
- Get with Google. Email, word processing, spreadsheets, etc. (Free)
- Download Firefox to browse the web. Replace Internet Explorer. Your children will thank you. (Free)
- Download iTunes. If nothing else for the simple podcast download support. (Free)
- Wikispaces. This is the easiest way to begin building a website. (Free)
- USB drive. Also called a "thumb drive", "jump drive", "key drive". Your information begs to be portable. ($10 - $50)
- Del.icio.us. Del.icio.us is an online bookmarking service. Register an account, add these tools, and let your bookmarks follow you. (Free)
- Flickr. Share your photos. Also find Creative Commons licensed photos for your reuse at http://www.flickr.com/creativecommons. (Free)
