A checklist for teachers attending...
- Have video to work with. Shoot a conversation with your cat if you have to.
- Know whether you have a USB or FireWire capable camera. USB makes things very easy. FireWire often requires a PC to have a special card to get the video from the camera to computer.
- Bring cables. Power and USB or FireWire.
- Don't bring copyrighted music.

- Shoot with a plan
- Take a variety off different angles (close ups, mid shots, long shots, etc.)
- Start recording early and stop recording late
- Make sure there is enough light for the subject
- Never shoot facing the window
