[edit] Student Approval and Oversight

1. Approve all student enrollments for DDO courses (as defined by DDO and the local district enrollment procedures/policy)
   1. Verify student has completed pre-requisites for class
   2. Verify that this class for the student meets student graduation requirements and, if applicable, IEP requirements
   3. Inform DDO Portal regarding student demographic information
   4. Identify budget sources as needed for purchased curriculum and facilitate payment.
2. Coordinate solutions with DDO Staff for students who are not approved for enrollment.
3. Act as first line of support to Local Teachers; Monitor progress of online learning students in local district
4. Intervene, as necessary, with principal regarding problems concerning online students and teachers (LT or OLT)

1. Act as advocate for and assignment of needed resources for course participation (budget, hardware, books, etc.)
   1. Verify that network, hardware and required software are available to the student at times and locations as per agreement with local teacher.
   2. Provide an e-mail option for students. If applicable, ensure student has necessary assistive technology.
   3. Coordinate the district resources needed for DDO Courses

1. Be familiar with, part of the development of and compliant with:
   1. DDO Policy and Procedures
   2. Local Online Learning Policy for your school district

[edit] Communication

1. Stay abreast of DDO options and opportunities for staff and students; Act as the liaison with local district management regarding all DDO policies and activities.
2. Market DDO programs within your district; Actively Participate in DDO activities designed for DDO District Contacts

[edit] Staff and Professional Development

1. Assist in recruitment of and dissemination of information regarding DDO staff opportunities, i.e. professional development options, curriculum evaluation teams, online teacher training, teacher leader recruitment, etc.
