Digital Photography

From Shifted Learning

The fun part about pictures isn’t the picture…it’s the story behind the picture. Grab your digital photos, digital camera, and video cameras. We are going to create stories! This session will begin start with “the shoot”. We’ll go out on a little photo safari to learn the tools and explore some basic principals of digital photography. We’ll return to the “lab” and dive into using Picasa, a nice (free) photo management tool design by Google. After our photos are touched up we’ll finish the day by pulling together the “story” behind the picture.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

  3. Set "personally identifiable" pictures to be viewable only by "friends" of your Flickr account.
