Thanks for being on the show! Here are a few tips ‘n tricks so that things go smoothly.

1. Find a place where you have a reliable Internet connection. Being on a wired connection is best. Wifi if you must.
2. Have Skype installed and ready to go.
3. Wearing headphones is important. The USB headsets (headphones + microphone) work nicely. iPhone earbuds + mic are ok. Using a laptop mic should be a last resort.
4. Try to find a quiet corner of the world.
5. The Skype handle you will authorize is shiftedlearning. Let us start the call with you before the show.
6. We have a chat channel happening at http://shiftedlearning.org if you want to follow along.
7. We generally hop on about 10 minutes prior to start time.
8. Assume we are recording and streaming live at all times. Keep the profanity to a minimum.
9. At the end we’ll wrap things up and say thank you, etc. There will be a brief pause followed by a “hurray!” for editing purposes. Stick around, we generally chat for a little bit afterwards.
